April 13th Raptor News

Welcome Raptor Family!

It has been an amazing year, and we are celebrating all our accomplishments with a Spring Carnival on April 27th from 3 – 7 pm at RTHS – so add it to your calendar and come out to support and celebrate our school and RTHS community!

Please join us for a fun afternoon, which will feature:

  • Games and Activities
  • Entertainment
  • A silent auction to benefit RTHS Raptor Fund
  • A basket raffle to benefit student clubs and sports teams
  • Food trucks

Meet members of the RTHS student clubs and sports teams – there is something for everyone here!

Parents, this will be a great opportunity for you and your student(s) to meet others and experience the culture at the RTHS. The PTSO welcomes you and looks forward to seeing you.

While you are at the Carnival, stop by the PTSO table, become a member for the 2018-2019 school year and check out our volunteer opportunities!

Our school has been built and thrives due to the dedication of our RTHS families. Charter schools like ours are not funded at the same level as other public schools, and we play a part in ensuring our school provides the environment and experience we want our students to have. Get involved with the PTSO! – your experience at this school is directly proportional to what you put in.

Supporting our PTSO is supporting our students and teachers!

Welcome Back Raptors!

About our
Parent Teacher Student Organization

How can you help?

Join the PTSO we are counting on your help! You can volunteer and support the PTSO by sponsoring events. We work hard so our kids have the best experience every day at school! We are very appreciative of the excellent teachers who make it a pleasure to learn! And we are most thankful for all the support from our parent volunteers.

What does the PTSO do to support the school and students?

School lunch plays a critical part in keeping our kids ready, willing and healthy for a great learning day! We thank all our parent volunteers who go above and beyond to balance work and school volunteering so all students can get lunch at school. We all hold regular jobs and carve out time to ensure that our students are happy and ready to learn. We also need help with keeping the school looking good and can save on big dollars that can go to the school for other academic and enrichment programs.

How do we support students and school programs?

We give back to the school and students by supporting Clubs via our Grant Programs. RTHS students are recognized for their individual and team achievements at local, state and national level competitions. From Brain Game to Robotics, Cross Country to Soccer, Math Club to Science Olympiad, and Debate to Foreign Languages…

RTHS students, teachers and coaches were recognized for all their efforts.

We could not achieve this without the help of all parents who drove teams to competitions and events. We also need parent coaches to support teachers and clubs!

We need your help to raise funds for sports events and sponsorships for academic programs. We do that through your support at the Annual Silent Auction, Capital Fundraising, and Clubs.

Routine activities such as transportation and parking are managed and monitored with partnership and teamwork between the PTSO and the school.
